Pink Sugar Sparks by Aquolina Review
Description
To be honest, we did not place much expectation on the Pink Sugar Sparks, but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The opening is strong and sweet, so that’s a warning from us, but once you get past that you can appreciate how well the patchouli complements the blend of florals and fruits instead of overpowering them. The vanilla and coffee, albeit faint, also add something interesting to the mix. We feel like we’re getting more than what we paid for, and of course that’s always a win.

Following the success of Pink Sugar is Pink Sugar Sparks, released by Aquolina in 2012. It prides itself with its floriental accords, meant to be enjoyed by women. The top notes include tea raspberry, bergamot and peach, while the middle notes are jasmine, orchid, rose and freesia. The base notes, meanwhile, are less floral and fruity; the base is made up of coffee, musk, vanilla and patchouli.
