The convergence of masculine and feminine tropes is hardly revolutionary nowadays, but when done right, still looks quite extraordinary and empowering. Women still love sporting such styles and for Pre-Fall 2019, Stefano Citron and Federico Piaggi of Piazza Sempione are here to provide all the manly chicness one can get. Tailoring is the big story in their latest collection, but for this season, their take is slightly softer. Pantsuits and strong sets of separates weren’t as restricting as most Italian fashion brands would have them. Even the outerwear is much more relaxed as well, playing with freeform shapes that veer slightly away from the body, but still have magnificent forms nonetheless. In essence, however, it’s the strong and luxurious Italian brand of sexual confidence and elegance that’ll make women flock to the stores and buy everything. Glamour and sophistication are the key points of this collection, which will make Piazza Sempione quite the fashion powerhouse come fall.
