For a first-timer in the fashion world, Swedish designer Per Götesson already made quite a big splash with his debut show on Fall 2019 London Menswear Fashion Week. His offering was all about challenging the eye with all sorts of details that one would have to look closely to see and appreciate. These effects were all in the bottoms, as Götesson confessed that he’s a more of a “trousers guy” than anything else. You’d have to look in closer, or zoom on your laptop or phone, that his pants are draped slightly off, cut in a certain way and are actually made out of more than one textile. His tops aren’t too shabby neither, what with all the deconstructed denim, draped cottons, and a few bits of oversized tailoring. This season, a new fashion star is undeniably born, and it’ll be great to him shine even brighter in the seasons to come!
