It comes with a luxurious, hand-stitched brown alligator strap that even adds to its elegance. The overall appearance can be said to be vintage-like, doing away with showing the mechanism through the back and instead forcing the wearer to wonder what’s beneath the dial. This Patek Philippe timepiece also showcases the caliber R 27 PS, which is mechanical self-winding movement. If you’re wondering where the minute repeater is, it’s located on the left side of the case.
Cons
There are plenty of things to love about the Patek Philippe 5078P Minute Repeater, but there is slight problem, although it is not a deal breaker. We’d normally expect it to be a given in other timepieces, but this particular model does not have have an anti-reflective coating, which can affect the dial’s readability.
