The LUST: Gloss is one of the brand’s latest efforts, and has since developed a fantastic reputation over the internet because of the way it transcends the traditional expectations from just about any other lip gloss other there.
These glosses are pigmented, with sheer but buildable coverage (into a true medium coverage) that has a great consistency and texture, so no patchy coloration. The product is also offered in a great variety of finishes to cater to exactly what you need from a lip gloss: there’s non-glittery high-shine, shimmer, and glitter. These distinct categories allow you room to figure out what you need, and choose from among the available colors. In terms of the formula itself, it’s definitely not as sticky as other lip glosses out there, which is a huge plus because, really, who wants annoyingly sticky lips? They’re just a huge distraction! Finally, and most importantly, the product gives a great amount of hydration to the lips, ensuring that after wear, the lips won’t look dry or gross.
Price-wise, it’s definitely up there for a lip gloss. At $28.00, it’s priced more like a liquid lipstick, but then again, it’s easily worth it just to be able to wear this particular product. Also, if you’re the type who likes a little more pigment in their gloss, this may be a good opportunity to tell you that the pigmentation does require a certain amount layering in order to achieve better opacity.
