Ombré Leather by Tom Ford Review
Description
We think that those who want to discover the beauty of leather fragrances would find an ideal entry scent in the Ombré Leather. It feels more diluted than the Tuscan Leather, which is a fellow Tom Ford release, and it allows the florals to tone down the strength of the leather. The Ombré Leather is a few dollars cheaper than some of the brand’s scents, but also possesses lesser sillage and longevity. Still, it is a well-made concoction that will appeal to both men and women.

Positives
We feel that the florals balance the strength of the leather
Sillage and longevity are not at par with other Tom Ford releases, but still good
Has a rich and sophisticated smell
Negatives
Drydown does not sustain the interesting blend of notes early on
Could be an acquired scent for some

Ombré Leather may have others expect that it will be like Tuscan Leather, but this 2018 release from Tom Ford has its own personality. A leathery, spicy fragrance, it bears some similarities to the Ombré Leather 16, another shared fragrance from the brand. Besides leather, Ombré Leather has other accords that give it its character and depth. Among these are cardamom, jasmine sambac, moss, patchouli and amber.
