Nili Lotan prides herself as a modern woman’s designer. She understands that her women don’t have the time to get all glammed up in an elaborate ball gown for an evening affair, and that they prefer something simpler but still sophisticated. For spring 2019, Lotan offered exactly that. More than ever before, she injected a lot of evening wear pieces for contemporary sophisticates. But her version of it included sexy monotone pantsuits, silky ankle-length dresses, and satin trousers. The confidence and ease in these clothes were stunning and enough to overshadow any floor-length gown. Subsequently. this brand of minimalism isn’t exactly that of Phoebe Philo’s Celine, but more of Lotan’s carefree signature that’s been completely underrated after all these years. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Nili Lotan collection without some standout daywears looks, which came in comfy denim, paisley print blouses, and linen miniskirts. Whether it’s day or night, this designer understands that her woman is a sexy adventurer trying to survive the urban jungle arms her with the right gear.
