The re-release of the Nike Air Max 1 Premium “Dark Curry” gave it a better shot at sneakerheads’ hearts, after a somehow underwhelming reception it got when it was first released in 2003. It took a long time before people started picking up on its design and beauty, making it a must for many sneaker addicts and lovers. We love that it stayed true to the Air Max 1 origins of nubuck and premium suede, plus the swoosh on the upper.

The “Dark Curry” colorway gives tribute to the famous hue known to the world as one that can be seen in the yellow curry powder. It was added with contrasting color on the tongue to give it a fresh look and highlight its Nike detailing. The white midsole gives a nice contrast too, as well as the heel’s air bubble.
