Nautica Classic by Nautica Review
Description
The 1990s is a decade that has an abundance of aquatic scents for men, with Nautica Classic being only one of them. With such tough competition though, we feel that this has not been able to achieve what others have. It does not come off as synthetic, thanks fo the focus on amber and musk, and it manages to feel sea-fresh, clean and masculine—but it is not the best smelling, nor the best performing of the batch. The Classic could still be enjoyed for its easy-to-wear nature, though.

Many men who grew up in the 1990s would remember Nautica, now referred to as Nautica Classic by the brand. Released in 1992, it was heavily marketed by the clothing company as an alternative to the Cool Water, and an aquatic scent to be worn by the hip and the young. Designed by perfumer Robert Gaudelli, the now discontinued fragrance has accords of lime, cypress, aldehyde, coriander, tarragon, clary sage, lemon, bergamot, jasmine, geranium, rose, cyclamen, amber, musk, sandalwood, patchouli and cedar.
