Nautica Aqua Rush by Nautica Review
Description
Aqua Rush by Nautica will hardly feel like the most outstanding of aquatic fragrances, but it performs better in some ways than the competition. For one, we are delighted to find that this smells natural. Yuzu, which is dominant on the Aqua Rush, is also pleasant instead of being overly sharp. The drydown, during which amber takes center stage, feels nice and calming. It is not long lasting and projection is weak, but that’s hardly a surprise especially for the cost.

Staying power is not to be counted on
Is not really a unique creation considering Nautica’s history

Nautica builds on its existing catalogue of aquatic fragrances with the Aqua Rush, which is made by Firmenich’s very own Harry Fremont. The scent is supposed to conjure an image of sailing on the salty seas, while the breeze brushes with one’s skin. In order to do this, the aquatic notes are given more character through the inclusion of yuzu and coriander. Other ingredients listed include violet leaves, clary sage, amberwood, teak wood and aquatic musk. The Aqua Rush is made available in sail-shaped, blue bottles that come in two sizes: 50 and 100 ml.
