Despite its listed accords, Montana Black Edition is not what we would describe as old-fashioned or unremarkable. Quite the opposite, actually. What we have with this Montana fragrance is a solid leather chypre, bitter in some parts but dark through and through. It is both elegant and modern, especially in the way that the leather is executed. It’s not a sure people pleaser, but who wants that all the time anyway?

Dark and bitter, but in a good way
Very masculine and contemporary because of the leather and woods
Average sillage and longevity
Very accessible
We feel that this might not be everyone’s cup of tea because of its darkness
Save Big At:
