“Really?” This was the question that came into our minds upon seeing the Fall 2019 collaborative collection between Fragments Hiroshi Fujiwara and Moncler. Really? They thought that this line was exciting enough to offer their faithful clients, many of which are used to seeing innovative and cool streetwear designs. Though these clothes are streetwear, they’re the most pedestrian we’ve seen within all of Moncler’s Genius collections this season. It was just sad how plain and mediocre everything was. We appreciated the wearability of it all, but other than, this was just extremely boring. Where were the edgy cuts? The new styles? Any sense of originality? The knitwear, we admit, was kind of interesting, but everything else was completely unremarkable! Even the styling was a plain hot mess! It’s a shame really because both Moncler and Hiroshi Fujiwara are both extremely creative in the world of fashion. But maybe they were just burned out this season?
