The Moncler man has always been a laid-back sort of guy, but for Fall 2019, he’s laying low within the hustle and bustle of a metropolis. Sergio Zambon designed his latest menswear line with an urban sophisticate in mind who, in his everyday life, wears a lot of colors, shine, and sportswear. The sporty element is well within the brand’s own vocabulary, but there was a refinement in this offering that was simply irresistible. Despite the overload of layering—which led to such bulky silhouettes—these looks are made up of desirable pieces that are both functional and fashionable. One can’t deny how dazzling the silver metallic puffer with bright yellow lining would look on a snowy white winter day. Nor how comfortable it must be to cozy up in the light gray sweater logo-ed with ‘1952.’ There was also a spot of soft tailoring by way of a multi-toned blue suit with large yet nifty coss-shoulder satchel. Posh pragmatism seems to be the trend of the moment, and no other brand captured it quite like Moncler 2 1952!
