Mon Paris by Yves Saint Laurent Review
Description
Mon Paris does not quite match the intensity of its ad campaign, but it is one recent, well-blended concoction from Yves Saint Laurent made to be enjoyed by women. A sharp yet floral and slightly sweet scent, it opens with fruits, pear being the most discernible, and subsides feeling clean because of its musk and patchouli. Its warm profile makes it ideal in the cold, but it is not overwhelming enough to be off-putting for the rest of the year. However, it can feel a tad too young and might not be what some women have in mind for a signature scent.

Mon Paris is not another spawn of Yves Saint Laurent’s Paris. Instead, it is a new interpretation of love and passion that should appeal to women’s noses, and men’s to some extent. It came with a visual accompaniment in the steamy but fully clothed ad campaign led by Crista Cober and Jérémie Laheurte, and had the two leads explore the French capital. Harry Frémont, Olivier Cresp, Dora Baghriche-Arnaud are credited as its perfumers.
