Mon Guerlain by Guerlain Review
This 2017 fragrance by Guerlain is not made for flaunting, but we would gladly have the scent in handy. Mon Guerlain is both reliable and well-made, which to us is one way of saying that there is nothing revolutionary here, but also that it is elevated to one of the better choices for floral fragrances. The bright opening is ideal for the transition into something more floral and sweet. We feel that the drydown is clean and uninteresting, but overall it won’t hurt to have another spritz.
We find this to not only be feminine but also elegant
Does not feel the need to be loud to emphasize the lavender
An indubitable people pleaser
Excellent wear time and good sillage
We feel the drydown to be very clean, but not in a way that gives justice to the earlier flush of florals
Save Big At:
Mon Guerlain is said to have been inspired by the house’s ambassador, Angelina Jolie. The 2017 scent was created by Guerlain’s in-house perfumer Thierry Wasser as well as Delphine Jelk with modern femininity, as exuded by Jolie, in mind. Available internationally, the fragrance is a combination of florals in the carla lavender and jasmine, vanilla and sandalwood.
