MAC Cosmetics Strobe Cream Highlighter Review
Product Description
“Strobing” is a trend in makeup that basically means brightening the highest points of the face. MAC Cosmetics takes on this trend with their Strobe Cream. One of the best things about this product is just how versatile it is. Whether you want to wear it as a primer, a highlighter over your foundation, or even if you want to mix a little bit of product into your liquid foundation for extra luminosity, there are so many things that you can do with this product. It’s also very easy to apply and use: just take a little bit of product, and swipe on. Once applied, however you’re going to use it, you get a bright (but still natural-looking) “lit from within” glow. The product’s biggest (and probably only) downside is that the consistency is slightly tacky, which not everyone may enjoy playing with. But if that’s not the type of thing that’d be an issue for you, we believe that this product is worth a go, to get an enviable, natural-looking glow.

Strobing as a makeup trend has really become a huge thing in the past few years—so much so that brands have come up with products, both good and bad, that truly capitalize on the trend. Fortunately, MAC Cosmetics gets a hit with their Strobe Cream. Multi-functionality and sheer beauty are both strengths of this product, and while the formula can be a bit of a downside, it’s certainly not enough to dampen the overall strength of this product. We confidently recommend this product to anyone who needs an easy, effective way to punch up their everyday looks.

SUITABLE FOR: All skin types.

Other Information:

  • The MAC Cosmetics Strobe Cream now comes in five distinct shades to flatter different skin tones and achieve a variety of looks: Pinklite, Goldlite, Peachlite, Redlite and Silverlite.
