In the most ethereal way possible, Louis Vuitton takes us into a wonderful trance in the French luxury brand’s first fragrance film campaign.
It is expected for Louis Vuitton to set a certain standard that has a lasting impact. And with Emma Stone serving as the muse for the campaign, plus the genius direction of highly acclaimed Director, Sam Mendes, we’re blown away by the short film dedicated for the newest addition in the Louis Vuitton’s fragrance collection: Attrape-Rêves.
Serious Film Wanderlust
Aside from all the excitement the film brings for the newest LV fragrance, it evokes some serious wanderlust in us. Emma Stone portrayed a woman that lives her life as a literal journey, with passion for travel fueling her every step.
You’ll see her striding to the boardroom, walking barefoot by the shore, and even driving her Mercedes to somewhere—complete with the kind of beauty that radiates and some luxurious essentials, too (e.g. the LV monogrammed luggage).
Part of the film, and possibly the most iconic moment of the entire campaign is that one “Marilyn Moment” of Emma Stone. On the beautiful Los Angeles rocky shores, she wore a beautiful white deep-V neck dress with a chain around the waist. As the breeze blows away her hair and dress, she bent it to hold on to her flowy skirt, reminiscent of the iconic photo of Marilyn Monroe doing the same thing.
Such moment, added on top of the brilliance of Stone as an actress, her shining talent, as well as elegant beauty, the film captured a true Hollywood moment right there. And we can’t help it—we’re utterly charmed.
Attrape-Rêves “The Dreamcatcher”
It is a surprisingly lively scent, with hints of sensuality added into the mix of Ginger, Bergamot and Lychee. On top of such a unique blend, Cocoa Flower, Peony and Turkish Rose bring out a certain depth to its scent, making it memorable and easy to relive as you look back on the significant moments you have worn this fragrance.
