If you wanted an exceptionally modern collection that the cool-girl in you will want to buy into, look no further than Longchamp’s Fall 2019 show. It was the right mix of sleek silhouettes within a palatable boho-chic vibe that, while a tad bit nostalgic, was entirely contemporary nonetheless. The most fascinating part about the whole thing was the harmony that all the elements exhibited together, thanks to the watchful and careful eye of Sophie Delafontaine. She claimed that her muse this season is a cosmopolitan traveler and it clearly showed. Her well-cut leather items—arguably the best pieces in the lot—were quintessentially Parisienne. The floatier frocks, on the other hand, were more Los Angeles or San Francisco. While the exotic floral designs that decorated many items looked fitting for leisurely travels to the likes of Bangkok or Bali. This sort of escapism is always a winner in our books, and so is this wonderfully chic Longchamp line!
