February 2021 (WHAT'S NEW?)

Live in Love by Oscar de la Renta Review
Live in Love is an underappreciated beauty, at least for us—despite being floral and woodsy, this is anything but generic. The opening makes us crave for spring, although at the moment, it feels more than enough. The clean florals eventually become creamier, and the smell will be complemented with a woodsy base. If we had to nitpick though, we hope that this had more staying power than what it currently has.

Doesn’t feel powdery even if it is clean and flowery
Reminds us of spring; can also be worn during the season
The florals become creamier as it develops, and this extends to the woodsy notes
We feel disappointed by its staying power
Save Big At:

Oscar de la Renta wants you to surround yourself with love, even when it’s just through a scent. Live in Love was released in 2011, and had three perfumers for creators: Ann Gottlieb, Jean-Marc Chaillan and Carlos Benaim. The accords are predictably floral with a push of woods. The notes included are orchid, hyacinth, bergamot, lily of the valley, galbanum, jasmine, rose, African orange flower, Virginia cedar, musk, amber and sandalwood.
