The year 2019 has Issey Miyake releasing a new fresh scent in the L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Shade of Lagoon, and we were impressed by the simplicity and freshness that a whiff allowed us to experience. We imagine this would make summers more pleasant, the heat bearable than it usually is. There is little to no sharpness and spice here for us that seems to have hounded other fragrances from the house. Performance is not a reason for buying this, though.

L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Shade of Lagoon is a masculine fragrance released by Issey Miyake in 2019. The scent featuring woody florals is perfumer Aurelien Guichard’s creation. The top notes here are listed as cardamom, grapefruit, ginger and lime, while the middle notes are cypress, sea accords and geranium. The base includes ambroxan, musk, cedar and vetiver.
