Le Jour Se Lève by Louis Vuitton Review
Description
Le Jour Se Lève is fresh and lovely, just as a travel-themed fragrance should be. We imagine it to be ideal as an accompaniment for a travel to the idyllic countryside, or even a respite from a stressful journey. The tangy accords are a little sour, but of the good kind, which is sustained until the less impressive drydown. This is a light scent which makes us think it is great for summer, but we would have liked it even more if it left a slightly heavier trail.

Positives
Has a bright and juicy opening, partly owing to the blackcurrant
An ideal summer fragrance
Negatives
A restrained scent we wish could have wafted stronger in the air
The drydown fails to follow the loveliness of the opening
Not very accessible, both in terms of price and availability

Le Jour Se Lève was released in 2018 under Louis Vuitton. The scent was described by the brand as conveying the feeling of travel through a scent. Perfumer Jacques Cavallier used some of his preferred notes such as bergamot, mandarin, jasmine sambac, magnolia, osmanthus, musk and blackcurrant. It was made available in 100 and 200 ml bottles, as well as a travel spray.
