Lancome Tonique Confort Re-Hydrating Comforting Toner with Acacia Honey Review
We have mixed feelings about Lancome’s Tonique Confort Re-Hydrating Comforting Toner: some things about it worked well for us and some other aspects about it turned us off. What we liked about this product are its beautiful packaging, the soft scent on the product itself, and the comfortable feeling it has on the skin during application. However, we aren't that much impressed with its hydrating properties. Don’t get us wrong, it definitely hydrates, but not dramatically enough to make it stand out among a selection of hydrating toners. A few things disappoint us too: the consistency of this product made application quite difficult with a cotton pad and it gave our skin a burning sensation upon application. Those with sensitive skin should definitely be careful in using this product, as it may cause more than just a feeling of discomfort.
Value for Money
Ease of Application
Hydrates the skin
Weird consistency which makes it harder to apply using cotton pads
May irritate the skin and cause burning sensations
May not have dramatic effect to very dry skin
Save Big At:
The Lancome Tonique Confort Re-Hydrating Comforting Toner with Acacia Honey can bring hydration to normal and dry skin, as well as a clean and fresh complexion. However, inside its prett ypackaging is formula that isn’t guaranteed to work favorably for other skin types such as extremely dry and senstive skin. With our experience, the burning sensation definitely is a downer and did not allow us to enjoy the hydrating benefits of this product. Hence, while we acknowledge its hydraitng benefits, we’re definitely sending out a cautionary message for those with sensitive skin. Finally, with its high price point, we think the cons outweigh the pros with this product, and we’ll deifnitely pass up on it next time around.
