It’s getting clearer and clearer by now that Lady Gaga can do it all. First establishing herself as an amazing pop singer and gaining a huge following from her “Little Monsters,” we’ve seen her recently give an outstanding performance in a movie entitled, “A Star Is Born” and launch her Las Vegas concert residency called “Enigma”.
With all that has happened for Gaga in 2018, we’re all excited to see her this New Year, now only on music award shows, not only in Vegas, and not only in the movies, but also in the beauty world. Yes, that’s right. If you haven’t heard about it yet, we’ll gladly be the ones to break the news to you that there’s a huge possibility that Gaga will be showing us what she’s got in the beauty department. And for your sake, we’ll give a quick look back on how this news started.
It all started with rumors
It was in May of 2018 when the rumors sparked. It was all about Ate My Heart Inc. filing for a trademark for a brand named “Haus Beauty”. It would just be normal occurrence for sure, but here’s the catch: Ate My Heart Inc. is Lady Gaga’s company. The rumors gained more attention because we’ve all seen this before with Rihanna. We’ve been waiting for Fenty Beauty ever since she filed for its trademark back in 2014. And while we waited for 3 years for that, it was all worth the wait. And this increases all the anticipation for Haus Beauty even more.
Gaga for Beauty
She MIGHT be launching a beauty brand sooner or later, which makes her a newbie as a brand owner, but she is definitely not a beginner in the beauty world. We can’t also discard the huge influence of her makeup artist, who happens to be the Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artistry Ambassador, Sarah Tanno. Aside from her amazing makeup looks that stunned the whole world over and over again, she also had a few beauty collaborations that we can trace as far back as 2009.
Lady Gaga had been the face of 2 M.A.C Viva Glam campaigns for both 2009 and 2011. She also launched her own perfume named “Fame” in 2012 in collaboration with fragrance company Coty and get this—her own The Haus Laboratories Paris. Sounds familiar, right?
Haus Beauty
If we’re to put on our sleuthing goggles, we might actually find that Lady Gaga could be dropping us major hints about her upcoming beauty brand. Some of her past Instagram posts with a focus on makeup bear hashtags like #hauseditorials, #haus and #hausofgaga. Are these obvious clues, or what?
If we’re to put our faith in the trademark application for the brand, we’ll be expecting a lot of products that will be released with the “Haus Beauty” label. The products would include makeup items like lip gloss, blush, eye shadow, lipstick, foundation, bronzer and highlighter, while on skin care products there would be face wipes, cleansers, scrubs, toners, moisturizers, self-tanner, hand cream, and others.
And it might not be long before we see some of these products be launched as the first products of the brand, as the website of the brand has just recently gone live! Although there’s not much in there at the moment, people are given dibs on the upcoming info by letting them signup. There aren’t any other clues in the website, and although it contains sections for Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, it doesn’t give the info that we need to finally mark our calendars.
Since Gaga wouldn’t tell us when her beauty brand is actually launching, we’d like to think she’s just building our excitement for it. And we think it’s working! So join us as we anticipate the singer’s beauty brand launch and just make the most of other celebrities own beauty products: Honest Beauty by Jessica Alba, Inglot collection by Jennifer Lopez, Flower Beauty by Drew Barrymore, Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner, and KKW Beauty by Kim Kardashian-West.
