Josie Natori Fall 2019 Ready-To-Wear Collection Review
Description
If you want to see what rich looks like, go look at Josie Natori's Fall 2019 line. Inspired by the colorful cultures of the East, she translated her native lands into impeccably tailored suits and shapely cocktail frocks. Though not the fashion revolution we often look for, this was a great offering for those who simply want luxurious clothes that are undeniably beautiful!

If you want to know the true definition of luxury, look no further than Josie Natori‘s latest line. Her Fall 2019 collection is just oozing with old-school glamour and exotic fineries that it already looks expensive from afar! Those shimmering brocades, sharp cuts, and posh prints are all glamorously enticing without looking too opulent. This has been Natori’s piece in the game—to display an unabashed sense of richness without looking too ostentatious. Taking various motifs from the East, particularly the gilded culture in the southern part of the Philippines (her homeland), she offered a stunning array of suits and dresses so finely cut and constructed they can almost pass as haute couture. However, this collection could have used a more youthful spin too. Though sophisticated, we found that most of the styles here were a tad too mature, and we don’t think anyone in their 20s or 30s would have a go with any of these items. It’s one thing to stay true to your brand identity, but if Josie Natori won’t capture the excitement of the youth with her clothes, it might mean the end of her company altogether. And it’d be a shame if that were to happen as no other designer can define luxury quite like her!
