For women, the allure of timepieces oftentimes equal that of their prized jewelry. After all, both are within the realm of luxury accessories, and they come together to give a full look of sophistication and grace. Brands like Jaeger-LeCoultre knows this very well, applying it to their continued release of amazing timepieces to impress women all over the world, including luxurious lines such as the Rendez-Vous collection made especially for sophisticated women. Among the tasteful piece in this collection, a recent standout that reflects the excellence of the brand is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Night & Day Large Watch.

Pros
First and foremost, this gorgeous watch look so elegantly when worn—a characteristic most women look for in a timepiece. Although called “large”, the dial sits nicely on the wrist while the strap, either leather or stainless steel, hugs around nicely for comfort. Readability is great as well, because it was made with a case measuring 36 mm in diameter and the Numerals are printed huge.
More feminine features are the charm of the earlier Rendez-Vous timepieces, but the Night and Day keeps all the sparkle on the minimum, with just a row of small and fine diamonds and a more catchy aperture—showing beautiful sun with flamboyant rays and a crescent moon with starts to indicate whether it is daytime or night time.
Cons
Jaeger-LeCoultre added an automatic movement, the caliber JLC 898D/1 which has 40 hours of power reserve, to the timepiece. While this complication is an understandable choice for a ladies’ watch, we think theb rand can do much better. For watch-lovers who are keen on details, the numerals can come off as a bit cartoon-like because of their size, which in trun ruins the elegant-feel of the watch.
