When speaking of Jaeger-LeCoultre, a fan would often have the Reverso in mind. And why not? It is a memorable timepiece from the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer and is unique in every way. Even though the model actually pre-dates the company, it has been strictly associated with Jaeger-LeCoultre, so much so that the watchmaking company has been synonymous with rectangular and squarish watches that boast of state of the art complications. Decades after the very first, the company is still listening to its clients and collectors who seek the one of a kind piece. This time around, Jaeger-LeCoultre brings to the world the Grande Reverso Calendar Watch.

Pros
Fans of the Reverso would find the Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso very satisfying. Its features include almost all of the mainstays in previous Reversos, plus a moonphase calendar on the dial. The dial is legible and maintains the Arabic numerals and the Art Deco style the Reverso has been initially famous for. For those who are a tad careless when wearing watches, this iteration of the Reverso is also ideal because of the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The overall vintage vibe of the watch is balanced by the modern looking, high grade alligator strap that has a unique pattern. The buckle security on the watch also prevents you from accidentally dropping the timepiece onto the floor. Had a few drops of water on the watch? No need to fret, the timepiece has a water resistance capacity of at least 30 meters.
Cons
The feature where you can see the mechanism on the back of this Reverso comes with a price: the watch can feel considerably thick and large than others from the same line. Longtime followers may not be accustomed to this and find it uncomfortable after a long day of wearing it on the wrist.
