IT Cosmetics Your Most Beautiful You Anti-Aging Face Palette Review
Product Description
The Your Most Beautiful You Anti-Aging Face Palette by IT Cosmetics is a pretty good product—albeit one that has some pretty significant issues with its formula. But first, the good. While it doesn’t necessarily look like it, this palette boasts a pretty large amount of product for its three types of powder: bronzing/sculpting powder, blush and highlighter. The offerings of the palette also mean an easy-to-use and versatile set, especially because the powders themselves are so well-pigmented. The product has two issues with its formulation, though. First, the highlighter is much heavier than expected, and can look a little imbalanced beside the other two powders in the pan. Also, the wear time of the product is a little bit lacking. In our opinion, even though this product isn’t the most reliable, its compactness and versatility really allow it to shine.

The thing about contour palettes is that in order for them to be a smashing success, all of the elements provided would need to go together in such a way that each of them work in perfect harmony with each other. In the case of the Your Most Beautiful You Anti-Aging Face Palette, it does so for the most part, but with this product, IT Cosmetics makes one significant stumble.

This product features three pans of powder. The pan that covers the largest surface area of the palette is the bronzing/sculpting powder, while the blush and highlighter get a smaller amount of space each. Even so, you get an appropriate amount of each powder. Because of the offerings of this palette, you do get a good amount of mileage out of it in terms of versatility, so you can get away with days where you only use one of the products or all of them. Each of the powders have also been crafted for maximum pigmentation, which means not having to use too much product in one application.

Probably the most off-putting thing about this palette is the heaviness of the highlighter, at least compared to the other powders in there. On some skin tones, it can appear much too golden, so there’s an apparent imbalance of color, especially if you end up accidentally applying too much highlighter. The wear times of the individual powders are also a little bit problematic. While the blush wears for a good amount of time, the bronzing/sculpting powder and the highlight tend to fade out much quicker than the former leading you to look like you’re only wearing blush.

On our end, we feel that the issues of the product are significant enough that we can’t say we find it reliable. But if you’re looking for a product that gives you all three in one set (thereby eliminating the need to carry multiple products all the time), this is a pretty good place to at least start looking.

SUITABLE FOR: Normal to dry skin.
