Luxury isn’t defined by a singular look, but rather by an undeniable quality of the highest nature. Hermès knows this to be true and proves it with their stunning Pre-Fall 2019 show in Paris. This season, the devil is in the details as an array of standard fashionable and chic looks were put together by awe-inspiring craftsman. This is the sort of “no-fuss” attitude that creative director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski instill in her collections for the famous French luxury label. The first look alone, a tailor-fit black coat-dress made out of fine wool with leather piping, was an exquisite exercise of classic taste with expert construction skills. As were the leather coats and separates that all looked as light as feathers. It takes a lot to make an industrial material like leather seem fluid and lush, but at the hands of the many skilled artisans at Hermès, anything is possible!
