If there’s one brand whose focus on resort is almost close to none, that’s Hermès. For Resort 2019, creative director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski highlighted luxury in such a way that everything about the show looked expensive. The well-cut pieces, the leather flip-flops, and the classic Kelly bags all screamed luxurious and almost unattainable. On the fashion side of things, the silhouette this season was longer and leaner. The white jumpsuit with the waist cut-outs that opened show would look perfect on any Mediterranean shore, but pair it with a nice tailored jacket and it can also be a great outfit for work. A few divinely-cut pieces also took on a slightly Japanese approach, especially with how they covered the body in their distinct shapes. From the get-go, this collection was more about luxury than fashion, but with such high-quality of unequaled caliber, this line will surely sell like million-dollar hotcakes.
