Glossier’s Stretch Concealer is great for ultra-bare “no makeup makeup” days, but not for very much else. As its name implies, the Stretch Concealer easily goes on skin without much caking because the formula is thin and flexible. Once built up, it can give the skin a natural-looking light-to-medium coverage. But if you really want your skin to look as flawless as possible, this is probably not the product for you. While this product is effective on dark undereye circles, its ultra-light coverage just leaves far, far too much to be desired. If you already have smooth skin that just needs a tiny boost, this might work for you. But otherwise, it’s not that great. The wear time is also pretty mediocre, especially if you’re not going to set it with a light layer of powder. Overall, this product really only does its best work under very specific conditions, so if you don’t meet those conditions, it’s probably best to stay away from this product.

Glossier’s millennial-friendly marketing and aesthetic has shot it to the top of the beauty brands of this digital social media age. While it has made quite a few impressive products, their Stretch Concealer leaves plenty to be desired. While the product looks very natural upon first application, it does tend to wear out easily throughout the day. That, and a somewhat-lacking range of coverage might dampen any desire to use this product unless you already have near-perfect skin without much to truly conceal.
