Givenchy Beauty Poudre Bonne Mine Healthy Glow Bronzer Review
Product Description
Givenchy Beauty’s Poudre Bonne Mine Healthy Glow Bronzer is gorgeous on the outside—but is otherwise unremarkable on the inside. Besides a beautifully sleek case, this bronzer boasts a creamy powder formula and buildable color and coverage. But on the flip side, besides a ridiculous $53.00 price point, it’s also not a particularly blendable or workable bronzer, which spells trouble for accidental over-applications. Additionally, it does exacerbate oily spots, which makes for a much weaker staying power than it should perhaps have.

Especially when you yourself are not headed to the beach at any point, bronzers are an absolute must in the summer. In the past, we’ve seen all manners of bronzer dropped to replicate that enviable sun-kissed look beachgoers can naturally acquire. In the case of the Poudre Bonne Mine Healthy Glow Bronzer by Givenchy Beauty, the results are more of a mix.

Encased in a sleek black case that absolutely screams luxury, this bronzer looks gorgeous. Even the elaborate powder pressing clearly has a lot of thought and heart put into it. Onto the formula itself, the powder is just the right amount of creamy for a powder, just so it doesn’t feel too drying on the skin. You also get room to adjust the intensity of the bronzer by building more or less product, so you can have just the right amount of color on your face.

On the other hand, the formula is also quite difficult to blend, which can be an issue when you accidentally apply even a little bit more product than you were perhaps intending to. While it does avoid dryness, the bronzer also has a nasty habit of exacerbating oiliness, making it look more slick than it should perhaps be looking after a few hours of wear. Because of this habit, the general wear time also suffers, beginning to look slightly patchy after just a few hours of wear.

Yes, we think this bronzer is lovely to look at, but do we think it’s worth the $53.00 you’d have to spend just to get it? We say not really. For a fraction of the price, there are so many bronzers out there that just about offer the same thing.

SUITABLE FOR: Normal to dry skin.
