To this day, it still confuses us why Giada is not as big a brand as other Milanese behemoths, Prada and Marni. Granted the latter two are more prominent for pushing the envelope when it comes to setting taste standards, but with regards to chicness, Giada is on the same level (some might argue even slightly above them!) If there’s ever any doubt, you’ll only need to see their Fall 2019 collection to be convinced. Gabriele Colangelo outdid himself this season with a painstakingly elegant line that flatters all sorts of women. From the intellectual to the incorrigible, women will find it easy to look sophisticated in any or all of the pieces offered this season. A girl-boss can look mighty and powerful in that grey check suit, paired beautifully with a slightly matching overcoat. A vixen, on the other hand, can just as easily seduce wearing that high-necked cream sheath as she can wearing showing off the lingerie she can wear underneath. For the younger girls, you can prance around freely in that butterscotch-colored pleated frock that opened the show. Diverse yet desirable, this Giada show was definitely one of the most remarkable for us this season! We’re already excited to see women sporting such looks come fall!
