Fausto Puglisi knows that whatever his woman is doing, she’d want to look sexy. Continuing his Miami narrative from resort 2019, he gave her exactly what she wants for spring 2019. But aside from solely focusing on the Versace kind of Miami Heat, he took inspiration from other big designers of the 80s and 90s. The bra-cupped cocktail dresses were clearly influenced by Azzedine Alaïa, while the puffed-up skirts harkened back to Christian Lacroix’s glory days in haute couture. The main difference here, however, is that all these looks are versatile from day-to-night, perfect for the sexy millennial bombshell who’s got a lot of things to do. These clothes were for the sexy girls of today but inspired by the masters and their muses of yesteryear.
