“Artificial Filter” is what the design team over at Emporio Armani named their Pre-Fall 2019 Collection. In their mission to translate the classic codes of the iconic sub-line, as well as the staples of Giorgio Armani himself, for the social media crowd, the team put a bit of a rock’n’roll edge to their eight looks. Albeit extremely limited, this offering does propose interesting styling choices for fall. An olive green military-style trench coat, for example, was worn over a flimsy floral frock. While a double-breasted jacket, tailored to perfection, was paired with a skinny pair of denim jeans and a shimmering multi-colored satin coat. Their mix of high fashion and streetwear is very much in the vein of the current dynamics in fashion. But trust the design team at Emporio Armani to always put elegance and sophistication first.
