When one thinks of Pucci, first-class jet-setters automatically come to mind. During his heyday, Emilio Pucci was the king of resort style and glamour. Not even the likes of Hubert de Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent can come close to his impeccable taste for destination fashions. One of those destinations that he and his high-class clientele frequented in the 60s and 70s was Acapulco, Mexico, in which his brand was inspired by for resort 2019. Movement was at play in this collection, as willowy caftans, floaty wrap dresses, and fringed skirts evoked fiesta chic. Although the silhouettes remained classic, as did the carefree spirit, these clothes will look as divine on today’s traveling socialites as it did decades ago on their mothers.
