Some parts of the internet population have very strong feelings (both good and bad) about the Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer by Dior Makeup, so we decided to try it for ourselves. The results? Quite tragic, really.
So is there any good to this product? Yes, it does have a few good qualities. The creamy formula is great at application. The applicator dispenses just the right amount of product for the concealer to neither run nor drag so it goes effortlessly onto the skin. Blending is also quite easy with this product. Just as good is the coverage of the product. While not being too heavy, it deftly covers dark spots and blemishes on the skin.
And yet, the bad still far outweighs the good of this product. The formula absolutely dries out the undereye area—so much so that you’d think it’s the Sahara Desert instead! In general, the wear time is just pretty abysmal, and the drying out and running of the product can also cause irritation.
Overall, we’re shocked that this product is even in the market because even we have to take wild guesses about exactly who this concealer caters to. And at $34.00, the financial burden is just not worth the risk of this becoming a glorified paperweight on your vanity.
SUITABLE FOR: Moderately oily skin.
