Coco Eau de Parfum by Chanel Review
Description
Coco by Chanel is for women who are comfortable in their own skin and find no need to prove their worth by flaunting their wealth. It is elegant and warm yet easy to wear, making a slightly sharp entrance only to be sweetened by fruits and made warmer by woods. It comes with a heavy sillage though, so moderation should be key to its application. Coco is meant to earn you compliments for its easy sophistication the rest of the day as it lasts long enough and more on the skin.

Jacques Polge, formerly the head perfumer at Chanel, is the nose responsible behind the now classic Coco. It is reminiscent of the other remarkable scents of the house while also being on trend at the time. Polge lists its top notes to be made up of peach, mimosa, frangipani, jasmine and orange blossom; its heart notes to be rose, angelica, clove buds, cascarilla and orange blossom; and its base notes to be labdanum, tonka bean, sandalwood, opopanax and leather. It is a contemporary of the Dior staple Poison.
