Those looking for an alternative for Creed’s Aventus, which is acclaimed but way pricier, may find a nice substitute in the Club de Nuit Intense Man from Armaf. The latter is not as fruity, but still well-made. The masculine fragrance is noted for the birch as well as the spicy notes that come with the drydown. It has moderate sillage and an excellent longevity, which is a steal for the price.

Armaf’s Club de Nuit Intense Man first saw stores in 2015. Besides the birch that gives it a nice, smoky quality, the fragrance includes other notes which include lemon, apple, black currant, jasmine, rose, musk and patchouli. The scent would be best suited for chillier times of the year.
