Lavender is the color of the season according to Christian Siriano, and for his Pre-Fall 2019 Collection, he had no trouble incorporating the lovely shade onto as many looks as possible. The famous hue and its corresponding flora are abundant in Provence, France, with which Siriano was evidently inspired by this season. He’s always been a sucker for haute couture-like structures and techniques, and here, they were on full display. From the tailored daywear pieces, the draped cocktail attire, to the most shapely and show-stopping evening creations, the clothes almost smelled as sweet as they looked. Other looks, particularly the black and white polka-dotted ensembles, also evoked a French charm that was quirky yet alluring. To say these clothes are beautiful would be an understatement, but they are, however, exceptionally chic!
