Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman delivered what might be their most artistic and fashion-forward collection yet. Their Pre-Fall 2019 Collection has a whole host of new silhouettes, fabric manipulations, and expert cuts that can rival even the biggest of luxury names in the fashion game. Inspired by the people’s current obsession with technology, and how this can separate the spirit from the body, the Australian design duo offered a series of cocoon-shaped pieces that were less body-conscious. This was relatively new from their usual form-fitting and tight silhouettes, but the exquisite construction was still highly evident. Despite the inspiration, the sublime tailoring also suggested that this woman was a powerful one—a modern dominatrix of sorts. This woman is also unafraid to embrace her more feminine side, which came in serpentine maxi-dresses and an eye-catching crimson diaphanous gown. If this is what modern fashion is set to look like, then the future looks bright!
