Burberry Weekend for Women by Burberry Review
Description
Burberry is not designed for wild weekends. Instead, it is better suited for wear while taking your afternoon tea as you catch up with dearest friends or leisurely read a book. It is among the least likely of fragrances to offend, and will allow you to blend with the rest because of its subtlety. Still, the intimate scent should make you feel happy and content with its nice citrusy and sweet notes, and the drydown consisting of musk, cedar and sandalwood should amp its calming effect. It will not last for the rest of your weekend, but it should be enough for the five hours or so that it stays on the skin.

Positives
Not overly sweet because the florals are balanced by musk and bitter notes
Citrus makes the scent feel bright and fresh
The introduction of woodsy notes by the drydown is relaxing
Ideal if you have no desire to stand out but still want to smell great
Negatives
We think the ingredients are well-blend, but nothing really spectacular that makes it standout

Burberry Weekend is the scent to reach when you need to relax your senses during off-duty days. Occasionally compared to the countryside, it is a combination of florals, citrus and woodsy notes. The top notes for the Burberry Weekend are tangerine, reseda plant and sap, middle notes are nectar, iris, wild rose, peach blossom, red cyclamen and blue hyacinth, and the base notes are made up of cedar, sandalwood and musk. This 1997 Burberry release is a creation of Nathalie Lorson.
