A cozy sense of chicness is what Brunello Cucinelli offered in his Fall 2019 collection. In a largely neutral-toned palette, tailoring and layering were the main talking points in his seasonal line. A chocolate brown coat, for instance, was nipped at the waist to form a seductive shape that was both pragmatic and refined in equal measure. As was the tuxedo-style evening dress that’s fit for a sleek siren going to an evening gala. Most of his pieces this season were cut so precisely that the quality simply stood out, and there was no need for any frill, ruffle, or embellishment. In terms of coziness, on the other hand, such was magnified by the plush coats and hand-crafted knits that really sealed the deal in terms of sophistication. Elegant in their ease, these items would prove to be bestsellers come fall, and this won’t be a surprise to anyone, not the least to Mr. Cucinelli himself!
