Breguet Classique 7147 Watch Review
Description
The Classique 7147 is a beautiful Breguet piece that does not significantly differ from other watches in the Classique series. It still is worth buying though as an entry level Breguet that will add a dash of sleekness to your ensemble.

Classy items need not be flamboyant nor overly-detailed; they are dashing even with minute features. More often than not, this is the case with classic timepieces—their charm stems from looking uncomplicated, even when the tiny details were made with exquisite intricacy. Such can be said about Breguet’s Classique 7174 Watch, a timepiece that continues to satisfy the thirst for elegant mechanical timepieces even at a technologically-advanced world. The sleek, neat and thin profile is the first to be noticed about the timepiece, yet it is so much more than that.

Pros

The Breguet Classique 7147 is an answer to most complaints about its older brother, the Classique 5140. While the latter is a dress watch, it is also comparatively thick by most standards, with a 10.80 mm case. The Classique 7147 is almost half that number, being at 6.1 mm, which means it would not be that much a bother when worn with dress cuffs or when part of your formal attire. There would not be any problems styling it with suits too, as the watch is simply elegant with tinier fine finishes to check out: the fluted gold case, the iconic Breguet blue hands, and the patterned dial among many others. The watch also features an anti-magnetic spiral and an old but trusted movement that has been developed in increments through the years.

Cons

Those expecting to see huge changes in the Classique 7147 are bound for disappointment. The appearance is pretty much in line with Breguet’s Classique series. Although slightly thinner than the Classique 5140, the Classique 7147 is still a wide watch. Depending on your mileage, it occupying significant wrist space can be bothersome.
