Aedes de Venustas Signature by Aedes de Venustas Review
Description
Aedes de Venustas’ freshman entry as a separate house reeks of rhubarb from beginning to end, but we are not bothered by its presence. Instead, we relish in it as it comes alongside more green and zesty notes, and then a fruity burst. It is clean without becoming powdery, and fresh for us as well. With good staying power, you would not have to keep a bottle with you all the time.

Bertrand Duchaufour, the perfumer responsible for the creation of Aedes de Venustas for L’Artisan Parfumeur, creates another scent bearing the same name, but this time for a different house. Rhubarb is the protagonist of the show for the scent, but it is complemented by tomato leaf, green apple, vetiver, incense, red currant and honeysuckle. Released in 2012, it is available as an eau de parfum contained in a 100 ml flacon. There is also a soap of the same name that could be purchased.
