Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer Review
Product Description
All of Benefit Cosmetics’ products come in lovely, kitschy little packages that evoke a different time in graphic design and packaging. It’s a shame then that, despite all the pretty packaging, not every single one of their products is a winner—which is the case for The POREfessional Face Primer. Despite the product’s brand name recognition, it’s not the most effective product per se. Yes, it does blur out imperfections on the face (fine lines and pores especially), but that’s the initial application. Once more layers of makeup are added to the skin, it begins to seem like the product doesn’t even exist—and in some cases, the other layers of makeup don’t even adhere properly to the skin, when normally they would. And that’s despite its steep $32.00 price tag. Overall, there are better primers out there that can do the same, or even more, than the POREfessional Face Primer, so this one can be missed out on.

Benefit Cosmetics has a lot of much-talked-about products, and The POREfessional Face Primer is one of them. Despite how good it is at blurring imperfections in the skin, the effect doesn’t carry over too much into the actual makeup, so it’s almost like there is no primer in the first place. Lamentably, this product just isn’t packing enough power to be a truly effective primer.
SUITABLE FOR: Skin on the drier side.
