In the Ultimate Lipstick Love, BECCA Cosmetics has found a surefire hit. Encased in a beautiful, luxurious golden tube this product immediately looks and feels expensive, which draws eyes to the product. This lipstick comes in a lovely range of nude and red colors, so while there are no available bold colors, you still get the pleasure of picking out just the right nude or red shade for you, which is definitely a plus. On the lips, this lipstick is comfortable and smooth, with a silky satin finish that feels just right on the lips and makes them look plump and healthy without being annoyingly shiny (or sticky). One of the best things about this lipstick is how hydrating it is, so it doesn’t cake on the lips, and when you take it off, your lips still look absolutely stunning. On the other hand, it is disappointing that this lipstick is not transfer-proof and it does tend to wear out throughout the day, but we can give those a pass because it’s not a matte lipstick that actually claims to be either of those things. To us, this is a good first effort from BECCA Cosmetics in terms of lipsticks that still stays true to the healthy, glowy aesthetic of the brand, and we feel that it’s a great purchase for anyone who’s having trouble finding the perfect nudes or reds for their respective collections.
