Balenciaga Paris has been the first notable scent launched by Balenciaga in a long time. Released under the direction of now Louis Vuitton Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière, it was composed by perfumer Olivier Polge. The face for the fragrance was actress Charlotte Gainsbourg, who is said to be Ghesquire’s muses. The notes for Balenciaga Paris include violet, bergamot, pepper, violet leaf, carnation, labdanum, cedarwood, vetiver and oakmoss.
