Balenciaga released B. in 2014. The fragrance was signed by perfumer Domitille Bertier, who used woodsy accords to enrich the green notes. The opening reveals ingredients of violet leaves, lily of the valley and edamame peas, while mid-phase, the cedar and orris begin to emerge. Its base notes are cashmere wood and ambrette seed. The lovely flacon that contains the juice has taken cues from the house’s Parisian salon.
