Aura by Mugler Review
Description
Aura, like other notable Mugler fragrances, is marked by excess. This time though, the brand focuses on its woodsy and green elements. The resulting scent is nothing ordinary, at least for us, with the intense opening of tropical notes that smell synthetic and lovely rhubarb that we wished could have lingered longer. The weight and loudness of the scent carries on as it reveals the heart and even the base. We adore the smoky quality by the end that keeps this from a cloying concoction we’d rather not partake in.

Positives
Not like other fragrances for the excess from the opening until drydown
Has a lovely rhubarb note that is partly green and sour
The base that emits a smoky vibe keeps the sweetness of Aura tolerable
Amazing wear time
Negatives
We don’t think this is a fragrance you can flaunt everyday as it is loud and excessive

Mugler released the green, woody aromatic Aura in 2017. Designed for women, the fragrance depended on the noses and expertise of four perfumers: Amandine Clerc-Marie, Marie Salamagne, Daphne Bugey and Christophe Raynaud. The listed notes are orange blossom, wolfwood, rhubarb leaf, bourbon vanilla and tiger liana.
