Every season, there will always be some deviant designers who will go against the grain with regards to what’s currently trending. For Pre-Fall 2019, Laura Cramer and Starr Hout of Apiece Apart were the ones who did that. This design duo is known for their lavish and feminine designs, which are almost too artistic for some to appreciate. But this season, as most labels venture into more tailored territories, their collection was inspired by soft sportswear instead. This isn’t exactly athleisure neither, but this offering is considerably less structured and rigid than what most women are used to seeing from the brand. That’s not to say, however, that the beauty here decreased. In fact, this was arguably one of their most aesthetically-pleasing lines, simply because it’s an unabashed classically feminine take on comfortable casual style. Those who are fans of their puffed sleeves, ruffled necklines, and flouncy silhouettes won’t be disappointed. This collection still has all of their indelible signatures, only this time, they can be worn on the street or when one is lounging at home. The well-cut form-fitting denim and canvas overalls alone are sure to attract many young women to buy into this pre-seasonal offering!
